Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was raised by a mixed ethnic family. Madekwe is English, and her father is Nigerian. She grew in an estate in south London community estate, and at the age of 14she enrolled in The Brit School. In London, she studied at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting certificate was earned. At school, she was a part-time actor in numerous stage plays, including King Henry V's princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe first began her career as an actress with the film Storm Damage. Since then, she has appeared on Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film appearance was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), with Colin Farrell. Her popularity resulted in her being cast as Elisha as a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. Later, she appeared in the six-episode series Trexx and Flipside playing the character of Ollie. In 2008, she was cast as Bambi as the main character in ITV2's show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was also a part of the comedy of 2008 How to Alienate and Lose Friends. She has performed as a character in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path written composed by David Watson.
Madekwe made her US debut in the series The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show aired just two episodes at The CW, and was eventually cancelled. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge from February 2011. Madekwe's departure from the series was officially announced in May of 2013. After two years as the main character she made a guest performance in the very first episode of season three. She played Tituba on the television series Salem from 2014 to. From June to July 2012, Madekwe got married to her long-time partner, actor Iddo Goldberg. They've collaborated in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and he also had a role alongside her on the TV series Salem.
Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actor who was raised by a big family. She was the daughter of Roy and Patty Leggat. Ashley Leggat was born to Roy and Patty as well her older siblings: Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. All of her brothers were athletic, and they played baseball as well as hockey during the winter and summer months. Her childhood was spent in the arenas and baseball. Ashley was never a walker, she danced, so at age just two years old, she took up Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. Ashley became a dancer since that time. Ashley competed in top-level divisions for jazz, tap hip-hop, ballet lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics and pointe until she graduated high school. Ashley was awarded the best individualist in all the most prestigious dance competitions like, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance just to mention a few.
