Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28, 1967 to Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts is the fourth Roberts generation living in Atlanta from her great-grandfather who was a farmer John Pendleton Roberts. Her father was a theatre enthusiast from a very young time. When he was a student at Emory University he appeared in various productions both at and off the campus. He joined the military in 1953. During his time working in Biloxi Mississippi, was cast in an army production that featured Betty Lou Bredemus who was as well in the Air force. They got married in the year 1955, and their first son Eric Anthony was born in 1956. In 1957 the couple left the Air Force and Walter began his studies at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter began working for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter and Betty Lou financed their own production of the local Sunday morning show for children, Bum Bum and His Buddies. In 1964, Betty Lou and Walter founded their own organization called the Actors and Writers Workshop. It lasted for 6 years. They also had Lelisa Billingsley (also called Lisa) as well as Julia (also known as Julie) in this time.
