Mena Alexandra (born in February 13th, 1979) is a model and actress from the US. After a brief run as a fashion model and then a transition to acting when she appeared as a guest star on TV shows such as Boy Meets World in the 1990s as well as High Incident. In 1997, she made her debut acting in a movie with Nowhere. Her performances were in American Beauty, for which she received an BAFTA Award nomination and American Pie led to her being the subject of more attention. She appeared in 2000 alongside her American Pie co star Jason Biggs. Then, she played the lead role as the lead character in Sugar & Spice (2002). She had appearances in the independent drama Spun as well as the 2004 action film Trauma. Also, she starred in HBO drama Six Feet Under. The drama aired on the air in 2004. Suvari was also featured in Day of The Dead, The Mysteries Of Pittsburgh and the movie version of The Garden of Eden. Suvari is a model in Lancome cosmetics and print ads to promote Lancome Paris Adaptive also is featured in a variety of magazine and fashion blogs, including Vogue. Suvari has been a loyal supporter and a defender of the highly regarded African relief organization the African Medical and Research Foundation. In addition, she is active with issues related to female empowerment, and participates in charitable organizations with a focus on breast cancer as well as the End Violence Against Women campaign.
