Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan actress who was born and raised within Orange County. At the age of five, she left Morocco for California. She graduated from the University of California, San Diego in the year 2015, which was the same year she got her big break in acting. Pernas had small roles on NCIS and Leverage. After that, she was offered the role as Marisa on The Young and the Restless. In 2016, after leaving the soap she was offered an appearance as Catalina on Jane the Virgin. The model, fluent in four languages, has since appeared in The Brave and The Green Ghost as Hannah Rivera. She also was on the show Secret Society of Second Born Royals. The role she played as Lexi Vaziri was on Blood & Treasure between the years of 2019 between 2019 and 2020. Us Weekly revealed in May of 2020 that Pernas was engaged to Justin Hartley, her The Young and the Restless co-star. This romance began in May of 2020, after Pernas split up with her wife Chrishell Stause. Pernas Hartley recently wed at a private wedding, according to news in May 2020.
