Simone Biles
Simone Biles (born on March 14th, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast widely regarded as one of the greatest athletes. The 2016 Olympics were held at Rio de Janeiro and Biles became one of the U.S.'s the first gymnast of female gender to win 4 gold medals. Biles also took home the world championship for all-around 3 times in succession (2013-15). Biles was raised at home in Spring Texas, in the Houston metropolitan area. She and her sister Adria were adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone first became interested in gymnastics when she was just 6. Her coach Aimee Borman invited her to Bannon's Gymnastix which was where they went for an excursion. Biles won a gold in floor exercises and also a bronze in vault during the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010, before advancing to the top level of gymnastics in the year 2011. Within less than two years, she was the most successful athlete in her discipline. Her consistency, her vivacious nature and high degree of effort for her four events- vault uneven bars balance beam floor exercise as well as floor exercise -- made her above the others.
