Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born on 16 April 1997 in Miami Florida. Half English and half Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father was an Argentine and has Scottish and English ancestry. The mother of Taylor-Joy has Spanish and English heritage. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's previous marriage. Families resided in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, after which they moved to the Victoria district of London. Taylor-Joy said the move into London was difficult and that she didn't learn English to avoid moving back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her school of choice after she transferred from Northlands. Her next school was Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in shows. When she was 16 she left school in order to pursue a full-time career in acting. Since her early years, Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to be an actor and her dream came true when she was approached for the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
